Birds of a Feather
Cathy shares a game she has enjoyed playing off and on with gamers and non-gamers alike since DunDraCon 2016. In Birds of a Feather the players are bird watchers who are trying to “spot” different birds in various habitats which are depicted on the cards. The players are each dealt a hand of cards (based on the number of players in the game). Each player then chooses one card to play face down on the table. When everyone has played their cards, all of the cards are turned face up and scored. Each player can score all of the cards on the table that are from the same habitat as the one that he or she just played.
Engine Building Games with the Whole Gang!
When we learned that Jessica was coming out to California from Virginia for a family visit, Sarah invited the whole gang over for games and dinner and we decided to record an episode while we were at it. Frank and Mark joined Cathy, Sarah, and Jessica for a little April Fool’s fun and a great discussion about Engine Building Games.
