Our Turn! Women on Gaming Inducted into The Dice Tower Network!!!
Today we achieved one of our biggest goals to date. We have been accepted into the podcast network of the premier gaming podcast – The Dice Tower. For anyone who doesn’t know what the Dice Tower is, just know that this is a VERY BIG DEAL for us and we are EXTREMELY excited.
The host of The Dice Tower, Tom Vasel, makes the announcement that our show, Our Turn! Women on Gaming, is being inducted into the Network along with two other shows: Board Game Blitz – another all female hosted show that started just two weeks before we launched (Congratulations ladies!) and The Family Gamers – a husband and wife team that talks about gaming with kids (Congratulations to them too!). The announcement is made in the first five minutes of The Dice Tower Network show Board Game Breakfast.
We are so excited to get the kind of exposure that a network like The Dice Tower can bring to our show but more importantly to Women in the Gaming Industry and Hobby – Game Masters, Players, Designers, Artists, Publishers, Distributors, and Store Owners. We look forward to working with The Dice Tower Crew going forward.
We all love producing Our Turn Podcast. When you enjoy something, pouring your heart and soul into it is a labor of love. However, we are constrained by our own resources on what we can do with this podcast. We’d like to do so much more and are asking for your help to make this podcast grow and become better and more entertaining. To enable audience support, we’ve set up a Patreon page where, if you feel so inclined, you can go to support the work we’re doing on this show.
Our first priority is to improve the audio. We know that the audio quality can make or break any show and we are committed to improving it going forward. Our first goal is to purchase better mics for Sarah and Nicole and to obtain some audio equipment to make field interviews better. We also want to make sure that our hosting is secure so that we can continue bringing you this show every two weeks.
As a thank you to our patreon supporters, we are pledged to provide extra content to you. We are working on more exciting shows for the regular podcast, which will ALWAYS be free of charge to everyone. But as a special thank you to our Patreon supporters, we will provide some extra content and we are excited by some of the things we have planned just for you. Any amount, starting at $1 per episode, will get you access to this special extra content.
Our Turn Podcast will ALWAYS be free of charge to everyone. We are committed to being a part of the gaming community and raising awareness of and bringing more women and girls into the gaming hobby – board games, RPGs, and video games – as players, collectors, designers, artists, and publishers. However, if you would like to be a part of our endeavors, please head over to Patreon.com/OurTurnPodcast. Thank you for your support. And thank you to Rachel, Andrew, and Adrienne for supporting us already.
